Ten minutes can fly by without you even noticing it. But if we are intentional, we can take just ten minutes to time to build wealth that will last for generations.
What can you do in 10 minutes?
- You can prepare a meal
- Eat a meal
- Some of us can run a mile
- Take a shower
- Drive or even walk to the store
- Call a friend to briefly catch up
- Scroll Facebook looking for pictures of your family and grandkids
- Tidy up
- Wash the dishes
- You can daydream and let it just fly by
- Or you can build wealth
Yup, that’s right, you can start training your mind for wealth in just ten minutes a day.
I didn’t wake up one day knowing everything that I know about money, I took small steps towards my ultimate goal. It started with just a few minutes a day, and after while I developed an appetite and hunger for learning the language of money. Soon enough, I was spending hours emerging myself in money topics, the result was that I not only became financially literate, but financially fluent. With just a few minutes a day, I started my journey to becoming a successful financial coach.
You may have some big goals that you have set for yourself and maybe you feel overwhelmed with all there is to learn and do. Don’t be discouraged! Just commit to spending 10 mins a day towards your goal, and when that becomes easy, bump it up to 20.
There’s a saying that goes, “How do you eat an elephant?… just one bite at a time.” Try not to focus on how much there is to do. Rather, focus on what you can do day by day, just a little piece at a time.
