Your dreams are worth achieving. But it’s up to you to make sure that you see them to completion. You can do anything that you set your mind to, so don’t quit pursuing your dreams.
What happened to that book you were writing?
The business idea that you knew was gonna make you wealthy? The idea you had for an invention?
The clothing line you were designing?
The workout program you started?
What happened to all of the goals that you ever set?
Did you see them to completion or did you slowly but surely let them fall off?
Did you get discouraged?
Were you unmotivated?
Did you quit?
No one likes to think of themselves as a quitter, and you don’t have to think of yourself in that way. You can see yourself as a winner, an achiever … a finisher.
But in order to live our dreams we have to stay steady and grind it out.
If you want to become a finisher, you can’t quit at the little things. You cannot afford to make a habit of not finishing. The manner in which you do the small things is the manner in which you will do the big things.
Get those small victories under your belt, renew your mind, and train yourself to think and act like the winner you are.
If you start a workout class and the next day you are so sore that you don’t want to go back, go back anyway. The victorious feeling that you’ll have after enduring the class will be far greater that the comfort of staying at home.
If you start a 1,000 piece puzzle, sit down and finish it. You will feel so proud of yourself when you look at the completed picture.
Did you read half way through a book? Go back and read the rest. You’ll have a sense of dignity when you turn that last page.
Whatever task you start, finish it.
When we overcome obstacles and press our way to the finish line we have the chance to experience overwhelming victory.
Backing out and quitting grants you none of this. Instead, quitting can lower your self-esteem and makes it that much easier to quit something else.
When it comes to seeing our goals and dreams come to fruition, we must also consider our legacy. Do you want your children and grandchildren to see you start many things and bring none of them to completion?
Do you want to give them a reason to quit their own dreams, or would you like to leave a legacy of finishing, overcoming and conquering?
Will generations after you know that despite the trials, struggles, and setbacks that you faced, you always made a comeback?
Regardless of what your goals and dreams are, you are too legit to quit. When you achieve your own dreams it can change your world.
Don’t ever give up on your dreams. You’ve already won, you are already victorious, and you just have to stay in the fight until the final round!
